[quote user="Antonio J."]WaveLab won't play them either, which is very strange since they were "created" with that software. The only software playing those files, are they .w64 or .wav, is Sony's Sound Forge.Funnily enough I more "saw" the differenc...

Hi Romy, I am a little behind the times as regards internet radio, etc.. Can I run some sort of cable to listen to these stations on my audio installation, or is it just for listening on the computer sound ?Thanks,R Weissman...

Rony, I do not relay know. I never played the Internet Feeds on my “big” playback; in fact I never had those intentions. I think it will be horrible. I usually listen those Internet streams via headphones and a computer while I am working. The Cat ...

Hi RomyDo you have favourite versions of these pieces preferably recorded in the last 50 yearsWould they be by the same pianist or does the Liszt require particular capabilities of the player perhaps not needed by the Chaconne.Excuse the absence of p...

Actually, you heard the music off a computer -- into which the CD has been programmed. That's how it works, during the summer.Hope that helps...clark...

LOL. I don't think you'll ever sell your LP's. Maybe you would sell the CDs after ripping them into the computer, but the vinyls..... I wouldn't do. In any case, let us know ;-)Rgrds,A...

[quote user="jtavan"]As Tony points out, there are some digital cards with supposedly good converters in them. The Lynx Studio LynxTwo or Lynx L22 cards are said to work well. But the computer IS a very noisy environment, and the idea of conver...

Oh, you were feeding the Lavry into the Bidat! I understood you were doing the full game feeding your computer. LOL my former comment was not applicable in that scenario.... really stupid hahaha.Romy, I'd like to know a couple of things about the Lav...

BTW, in the end of it’s live Fane tied to do flat loudspeakers. The try to convince that it was not the computer-grade but the real deal. Conceptually, if it properly implemented (a big opened question) then the flat design might be very interesting ...

At the risk of overloading you... Here are a couple of quick computer drawings showing a version made from 2 inch steel tube... Material cost would be very low. jd*...

Oh joy! :-)In my greed I'll attempt to get the "Flat / Hierarchy" exactly how I'd like it:One click on "Flat" or "Hierarchy" creates a cookie on the users computer, which stores the setting (for a loooong period ahead). The chosen mode will stick, an...

Perhaps the best use of Sauna excludes hi-fi, and any Music would be of the Other sort? If speakers, why not a TV, or a soft drink dispenser, or a computer terminal??Best regards,Paul S...

The data ripped to the hard disk is - absolutely precisely - the same as the data on the CD.It is not possible 'kill the quality of a CD' by creating a bit-for-bit exact copy of it elsewhere - any more than you can 'kill the quality of a photograph' ...

[quote user="steverino"] I'm not surprised at your disappointing results as I have experienced the same with a variety of power filtration or generating devices. Your surmise is correct that such devices work much more easily with AV equipment or com...

Zako, the first order of business is programming; ie, what sort of music could you enjoy, best case? In my own situation, the quality of the tuner is the least of my problems!I am getting to the point where I wonder if computer-sourced program might...

Very helpful primer. This might be a good place to elaborate a bit on approaching the task of crossover selection and testing for each driver, especially with respect to points, filter selection, steepness and other parameters one should consider. Fr...

But why make the files so large? After all, we are talking about car "audio" here, right? Not to mention the fact that my "computer capabilities" crap out around You Tube level.Otherwise, this sounds ike a GREAT idea! I'd love to hear what the res...

I would certainly be the sort to frequent such a place as the Classical or Jazz Cafe.Regarding Mr. Hwang's implementation; even through the computer replay medium, I hear the quality of this horn implementation, and I'm inclined to believe it sounds ...

I was considering this unit to set up a modest high resolution files playback system in my main rig. I'd play the downloaded files on a portable computer to feed via USB this toy. A friend of mine is purchasing one of these from the Spanish distribut...

[quote user="jp"]I was looking into the power supply situation with my DAW and was wondering what viable options exist out there. Currently, I am using an internal 600w pc power and cooling unit. Apparently there arent many out there.&nbs...
